Fly Slayer Usage Instructions

The catcher can be used horizontally and vertically. It can be hung on a wall, it should be mounted 1m from the ground. Flies are attracted to light so the catcher should be placed in a bright place.
After you have removed any caught flies, you can clean the collection box using water and detergent, then dry. The transparent cover should be assembled correctly and kept clean at all times. This can be cleaned using water and detergent, then dried. The motors of the machine must not come into contact with water at any time, whilst cleaning or during outside use.
Whilst the machine is switched on you may notice alight buzzing noise, this is the gears inside the machine working. If you switch your new machine on and the rollers do not rotate, simply push it clockwise until the gears meet up.

How to apply the sugar solution

Switch off machine make sure rollers are flat, slide off the transparent arc caps, spray sugar solution evenly on the net plate and attractant strips, make sure to dry thoroughly and do not allow sugar solution to run switch on machine to spray next rollers and proceed as above.

Where to position the Fly Slayer

The machine should be placed in a bright place, this will attract more flies.

How to clean the Fly Slayer rollers

You can use a damp tissue or a soft cloth to clean the rollers.

How to remove flies caught

A little piece of wood can be used to remove any flies caught.

How to change the MINI attractant strips

Remove bait from packaging insert into each roller removing the protective film leaving the thin sponge and the bait in tact, replace the net plate, spray with sugar solution and wipe dry. Replace the plastic arc cover.

How to change the MAXI attractant strips

Remove old bait by unclipping the net plates from each roller and dispose in the bin. Remove replacement bait from packaging spray with sugar solution then wipe dry. now simply clip intoplace making sure the strips are flush with roller. Do not remove any film or plastic that encloses the bait.

How to clean flies collection box

Fill with soapy water, swill it around and rinse with clean water, dry thoroughly before replacing it in the machine.
